KingQuill Publishing LLC is an Iowa-based veteran-owned small business providing professional writing, training development, and publishing services.
We work with businesses, nonprofits, public-safety organizations, educators, and government contractors that need complicated ideas turned into clear, useful material.
Whether the project is a grant application, proposal response, EMS simulation scenario, training curriculum, technical document, or piece of original publishing, the goal is the same:

Built from operational experience
KingQuill was founded by Paul King, a writer and retired U.S. Air Force medical and training professional.
Over a 20-year military career, Paul worked in prehospital medicine, medical training, curriculum development, simulation, and large-scale training operations in the United States and overseas. That experience shaped KingQuill’s approach: understand the mission first, communicate clearly, and build products that work outside the conference room.
Today, KingQuill brings that same approach to professional writing, government and nonprofit support, EMS education, training development, and publishing.
Writing is still at the center
KingQuill is also a publishing company.
Alongside client work, we develop original fiction, essays, serialized writing, and educational products. The creative and professional sides of the company may look different, but they come from the same belief:
Good writing should do something.
It can clarify a requirement, teach a skill, win support for an idea, or simply tell a story worth remembering.
